Dr. Prohofsky
I grew up with parents who place
a high value on service.
It is only natural that I picked
that up from them and made it a value of my
own.
Personal Philosophy
I believe that health comes from knowledge
tempered by experience and all three together
lead to happiness.
(Health does NOT happen by itself or by accident!)

Rick Prohofsky, D.C.
I have lived in St. Louis Park,
Minnesota most of my life. I graduated from
St. Louis Park High School in 1977. I attended
the University Of Minnesota and earned a Bachelor
Of Arts degree in Sociology. My interest in
fitness and sports medicine began while I was
in college. My uncle started me thinking about
chiropractic. The more I found out about chiropractic
the more I liked it. I graduated from Northwestern
College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minnesota,
in 1988.

| My wife Jodi and myself |
I taught swimming and was a lifeguard
at many different places. I worked in a camera
store, a mail room, as a security guard, as a
personal care attendant for a man with a disability,
teaching weight training and fitness, and many
other vocations. My favorite thing to do always
was and still is volunteering - everything from
the Milk Carton Boat Race, the Whiz Bang Days
Parade and the Nuclear Power Plant drills.
My hobbies include amateur (ham)
radio, fitness (weight training,
bicycle, cross country skiing) and science fiction - any way, shape or
form.
